George is a founding partner of Woodhill Financial Group, Ltd., and is responsible for all Corporate Finance Consulting Services for the firm.   With more than 30 years of experience in middle market business operations, George is a senior executive with extensive background in strategic planning, financial management, operations and business development, with global experience across Asia pacific, Europe and the Americas.

 

Woods is an expert in organizational improvement within a broad range of multi-national manufacturing, energy and services industries.  He has a special knack for steering companies through turbulent times and successfully restoring operations.  George fine-tuned these skills during his time as co-founder and principal of WJG Capital, L.L.C. -- a company dedicated to identifying consolidation opportunities in highly fragmented industries.

 

Prior to Woodhill, George accumulated 20 years of direct financial management and operational experience with several different service related companies in which he was involved as an owner operator shareholder. This tenure included hands on Chief Operating & Chief Financial Officer roles with companies in start up, rapid growth, turnaround situations.

 

Additionally, Woods proudly served as CEO and President of Entertainment Technologies & Programs, Inc., a Houston-based provider of entertainment products and services to both military and civilian markets, where his leadership is cited in turning the company around.

 

Mr. Woods has a Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the University of Texas.
